Favorite season
Would you have thought so Autumn is the favorite season of many guests. The sun on the south side of the Alps spoils us until late October and immerses the mountains in an enchanting play of colours.
Time for gourmets
In autumn, all gourmets get their money's worth here in Carinthia: it's "mushroom season". Gerhild spoils the guests at the estate with delicacies of the season. Farmer Heinz's game specialties are also very popular at this time of year.
Finally time for activity
The mild autumn temperatures, the clear air and the best views make hiking through the colorful Carinthian mountains an incomparable pleasure.
Wellness & spa
Our outdoor hot tubs are a real experience on cool autumn evenings. You sit in the warm water and breathe in the fruity air under the starry sky. And then it's off to the sauna.
Autumn vacation with children
With children in Austria in autumn? Don't be afraid of bad weather and boredom! There is so much to discover here and thanks to the southern location, the weather for outdoor activities is usually even more pleasant than in summer.
Hunting & fishing
Autumn is the highlight of the hunting year and is therefore ideal for wildlife observation and hunting with farmer Heinz. You also have plenty of opportunities to fish around the estate - both in the nearby whitewater river Möll and in the farm's own fish ponds.
Autumn time is riding time
The heat of summer is over. Now is the best time to ride. Experiencing the world on horseback and enjoying the breathtaking colors of the mountains in the Hohe Tauern is an unforgettable experience.
Skiing now
We have a very simple recipe for everyone who is already longing for winter and skiing in autumn: Up on the Mölltal Glacier and off to the skis. It is only a 20-minute drive from the estate to the valley station. Skiing is possible here all year round and becomes a pleasure again, especially from September.
