Hunting: From capercaile to red deer
Have you even seen a
deer close by? Or how a caperdaile peform the courtship display? We are taking
you to several hours of stalking to unique wildlife watching places. (150 € for
max. four people, dates upont request, children have to be accompanied by parents).
Do you want to go hunting on your own? Our hunting terretoriy extends from the
Langut up to the “Teuchelspitz” with a size of 225 ha. Antother of our
territories has around 550 and is reachable by car within 20 minutes. In both
terretories you can find all common wild species. From roebuck, red and chamois.
We also have black grouse and capercaille in our hunting territory.Tip: If you
stay in our “Ploatschtratten Hütte”, or the newly built Moserhofalm, you are
living in the middle of the hunting territory.
Fishing: For beginners and experts
Fly finshing is relaxing, strongers the connection with nature and is an art for itself. In the shallow water of the “Möll” which is directly behind our holiday village you can find ideal conditions to fish. Beginner classes are provided by our business partners (www.dorfschenke.com, www.marksflyfishing.com).
For people that prefer deep water, or want to fish on an expert level, we can show them the right spots. Discounted fishing permits are available for our guest for 55,- € per day. In the “Möll” are living rainbow trout, brown trout, whitings, graylings, tenches and noses. The rarest species you can find in our water is the danube salmon, which is unique in Middleeurope. In the close by lakes you can also find salmon, lake trout, pike, zander, tenches, carp and reinanken. The fishing permint costs around 15,- €. Families can enjoy fishing at our own two fishing ponds. Per kg we calculate 10,- €. You can rend equipment at the Langut.
