The rustic “Bloatschtratten” Lodge is a 40 minute drive away from Moserhof Manor. It is perched high above the valley at an altitude of 1,800 metres and surrounded by a breathtaking mountain scenery and lush meadows. Far away from any hustle and bustle of everyday life, the lodge provides the opportunity from mid-May to October to enjoy a stay in marvellous natural surroundings and in absolute silence without mobile phone coverage and luxury amenities.
The lodge, which can sleep up to five persons, is composed of a cosy open plan living area with a rudimentary kitchen, a master bedroom and an attic room with three beds. Heat is exclusively provided by wood-burning facilities. Instead of a refrigerator there is a cold room dug in the mountain slope. WC is available in the hut. A special feature is the panoramic spa house with bathtub and wood-fired sauna. You can book highlights, such as guided wildlife watching tours or deer
stalking and shooting accompanied by Mr Heinz Hartweger. Upon request, we will bring a food basket with organic products from Moserhof Estate to the lodge. The nearest amenities can be found in the village of Obervellach and the nearest inn can be reached within ten minutes with an off-road vehicle. A four wheel drive vehicle is essential to access the lodge (for car hire take a look at www.autohaus-wulz.at).
